No. Although Start Your Research does include results from many of our databases it does not index the content of all of databases provided through the University Libraries. Start Your Research can be helpful when you are not sure which discipline your topic comes under or if you are just not having much luck finding resources elsewhere.
The library provides access to some materials which are available only through particular databases not included in Start Your Research. There are often advantages of conducting a more focused search using one of the subject-specific databases. Specialized databases allow you to target specific sources, such as authors, journals, and other publications, along with the keywords and subject terms which connect you with the information you're looking for, and filter out materials which may pop up in Start Your Research, but may have little or nothing to do with your topic.
And, of course, there are resources not provided by the library which can also be useful.
