The library's access to HBR can be found below:

Harvard Business Review

Harvard Business Review Digital Articles

If you're searching for access to a case listed on their website, be aware Alkek Library is not provided access to all cases through the subscription through the database Business Source Complete (BSC).

HBR only adds content into the BSC database that can be used for coursework as part of our agreement. There are some cases, but not all cases are included. If it is not in the database, it cannot be used as part of our agreement. There is no way to tell without searching for each item. This material can not be requested via Interlibrary Loan.

If any faculty member would like to use something in Harvard Business Review that is not in the BSC database they will need to:

  1. Go to the website store.hbr.og
  2. Find what they would like to use
  3. Click on ARE YOU AN EDUCATOR under the red Add to Cart button?
  4. Follow the directions
  5. This will give their students a 50% reduction in the fees.

HBR does not sell Instructors copyright licenses to reproduce the case studies. Each student has to pay for a copy. The Library also does not pay for access to case studies not available in BSU.
