Go through the library’s website to get to the article. You can find the journal on the library’s Periodical List or use the LibKey Nomad browser extension. Another option is using the Full Text Finder link in any of the library’s databases.

When you go from a link on the library’s website to a journal like Nature, click the “Buy or Subscribe” button or go to the bottom of the entry for purchase options. On the next you should see:

When you click View PDF, you will be able to see the first page, with an option to “Rent for 48 hours” or “Buy Cloud Access”.

 

If you buy Cloud Access, you will be able to print the article and save the article in your ReadCube account. The ReadCube account is free, you set it up the first time you use it, and it should work fairly seamlessly afterward.

To create an account, you can either follow the in-page prompts, or go to: https://www.readcube.com/home

To sign up, you must your Texas State University email. When you sign up for the ReadCube account, enter the verification code sent to your Texas State University email.

ReadCube has a free desktop and mobile app that you can use to view the article when you are offline.
