Q. What kinds of maps can I have printed at the library?

The Alkek Print Shop is located in AlkekOne on the 1st floor of the Alkek Library. Printing of USGS Topographic Maps is available to Texas State University students, faculty, and staff.

Map Pricing:

Texas State members will have the option to use either their Print Dollars to pay or credit card. Keep in mind:

• Every semester, each student begins with a $25 printing balance. This is all tracked online by your NetID.
• Additional printing dollars can be purchased online necessary.
• Your account balance is non-transferable, non-refundable, and expires immediately after the last graduation ceremony each Fall, Spring, and Summer II semesters.
• Please be aware that printing costs vary by paper size and color.
• Request for maps can be sent via online or paper form. Please allow 2-3 business days to complete request.

General Pricing for Maps:

24K (24”X36”) = $18
100K (48”X30”) = $23
250K (36”X24”) = $18
Other sizes will be charged $.30 per linear inch.
