If the dissertation is from Texas State University, you can search for it by title, author, or keywords in the Library Catalog or browser by department under Texas State University (also SWT).

Theses and Dissertations can also be found in University Scholarship by following one of two paths:

  1. Departments, Schools, Centers & Institutes and then choose a Department from the list. Each department will show two options, one for Faculty Publications and another for Theses and Dissertations.
  2. Electronic Theses and Dissertations is another way to browse these publications. This option can't be browsed by department or program though.

Dissertations & Theses is a multi-subject database and the world's largest collection of full text theses and dissertations. It contains full-text graduate works and abstracted or indexed records along with the ability to cross-search with other ProQuest resources. Limit the search by "University/institution" by using the "Look up Universities/institutions" or entering the text "Texas State University - San Marcos" as the University/Institution. You can run the search solely by institution or also enter a keyword at the top of the search page.
