Q. Where would I find resources for current events and controversial topics?

1. Search Pro & Con/Hot Topics Databases

The library has several databases that contain resources on controversial and current topics.  Click here for a complete list. Generally these databases have background material on a given issue, plus position essays and recommended sources for further reading.

2. Search the Library Catalog

Search the library catalog for books and videos on your particular topic.  The library also owns a series of books called "Current Controversies" that contain essays on a given topic, plus background information and further reading.  Search "Current Controversies" in the catalog for a list of these books.
