Q. How can I find literary criticism for an author or novel?

For books of literary criticism about a particular author, do a Subject search in the library catalog using the format:

Last Name, First Name or Initial.

Many times there will be a subject heading of Criticism and Interpretation about the author and that list is usually a good place to start. Also, the guides below can be helpful for more information.
